Description
The reflectometer, PicoGloss 503, is a portable gloss meter with switchable measuring angels/geometries of 20°, 60° und 85° and statistical evaluation feature.
The high-gloss mode with a 20° measuring angle is specially meant for use on surfaces with high gloss (e.g. metals) and has a measuring range of 0 to 2000 gloss units (GU).
The medium gloss mode with a 60° measuring angle is specially meant for use on surfaces with medium gloss (e.g. varnish, synthetic materials) and has a measuring range of 0 to 1000 GU.
The low gloss (matte) mode with an 85° measuring angle is specially meant for use on surfaces with low gloss (e.g. varnish, synthetic materials, wood and ceramic) and has a measuring range of 0 to 160 GU.
The PicoGloss 503 switches over automatically to the required mode depending on the gloss type.
The USB interface or bluetooth enable transmission of readings to a PC.
